My lake house is a wonderful place for your summer vacation. The house is decorated with lake decor, and includes a newly remodeled kitchen. The house has a patio with fire pit which is perfect for evening bonfires or cooking out on the grill. There is pier parking for up to 3 boats or personal watercraft. The house is also walking distance to the only public bar / grill on Lake Tippecanoe (must be 21 to enter). Come enjoy this all sports lake which offers some of the best fishing and space for other water sports like: water skiing, wake boarding, wake surfing, and tubing.

Located on the north shore of Lake Tippecanoe, our home offers the best views and swimming on the lake. At 115 years old, the cottage is a unique blend of antique charm and modern conveniences. The main floor features a living room with fireplace, dining room with seating for 8, fully stocked kitchen with electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker and garbage disposal, a full bath and a front room with comfy seating plus a table and chairs and the all important view of the lake. The lake side of the property features a large deck with chairs and table, perfect for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the view. The septic system is well maintained, but only toilet paper can be flushed. The well water is pumped into home and you’ll hear the pump when it comes on in the back closet. The backyard features a fire pit to enjoy and our property promptly ends behind the shed. Only twigs on our property can be collected as our neighbors have their own stack of firewood. We have a small stack of firewood beside shed. The trail to the lake is easily accessible across the road and directly down the gravel path. We have 5 night minimum and 10 night maximum. You're gonna want to stay longer, but we have to share! LIVING AREAS There are two large rooms on the 1st floor, each with plenty of seating: - The Sun Room faces the lake with three picture windows. It has a couch and chairs for the adults and a craft table and chalk board for the kids. - The Living Room has bay windows overlooking the back yard. It has an L-shaped leather couch, wood-burning stove, and television. The kitchen is open with an island and a pub table. It has a sliding glass door that opens to a large deck near the water. Toaster, coffee maker, electric skillet, pots, and other cooking essentials are provided. We offer paper plates, plastic cups, and utensils because you shouldn't have to do dishes on vacation. On days when you're indoors, we have plenty of puzzles, games, & books, plus an HDTV, a smart DVD player(Hulu, Netflix), and a beautiful view help you feel recharged! BEDROOMS 1st bedroom: Master bedroom has a queen bed, dresser, and half bath. The area between the two piers is shallow enough for children to swim and play. Piers are typically in by mid-May and out mid-October, weather permitting. There are 2 sandbars on Big Chapman with shallow areas ranging from 1’ - waist deep. Tie up and have a great time! In the evening, sit around the campfire (firewood is included!), make s’mores & most importantly memories that will last a lifetime. No smoking or pets. Pontoon information: 2021 Godfrey SW 2086 CX. A five year old, 2400 square foot home, on the Big Barbee lake. There bedrooms, 2 full baths, open kitchen and living room with a three season room. Deck, pier, two car garage and kayaks available to use at no charge. Boat launch within walking distance of the home. Two restaurants/bar within walking distance. Ten miles from Winona Lake and Syracuse. No pets or children. No smokers .Adults only. This is our year round residence.

This is a very large cottage. It is located on an EMS lane with a shared beach area. It does have a sand area and a small swim area for the young children. A larger area for the teens and adults at the end of the 90 foot pier. It is approximately 5 foot deep at this area. Enjoy sunning and fishing off the pier with easy access to the water. This is about 300 feet away from the cottage. This is not a lake front cottage. But just a short 2 minutes walk to beach and pier. Bring your boat we have dock space. The open kitchen, dinning, and living area will give way the the times you will be inside. The largest bedroom is 13x15 with two queen beds, dresser and tv. The second bedroom 11x13 has a queen bed, dresser and tv. Third bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and tv. All bed linens and 30 bath towels provided. See list of amenities. The east 16x16 deck is located just outside the kitchen for easy access for the grill. This side also includes a covered area for hot days or maybe light rains to enjoy. A large yard Area with swings for the children is a shared area. The west deck is a great place to just sit and relax. Lawn chairs and a fire pit/fire wood is provided for you. This is a very comfortable cottage, perfect for your family or a couples get-a-way. While this cottage is not lake front it is just feet away from the waters edge. One of my best times of the day is to get a cup of coffee walk outside the cottage while the dew is still on the ground walk down to the lake. If you are quiet you will see the bass swimming along the sea wall. We have a pier to fish off of and to park a boat. The Cottage is a small Cottage but very comfortable equipped with everything you need. Just bring food. It is on a well so if you don’t like the well water you might consider bottled water. The deck outside has a gas grill and gas, along with table and other seating. We do have a fire pit area that other cottages surrounding also uses. Great time to meet other people. The shared beach area gives you chance to get cooled off or play in the sand. The sun is warming as I walk to the lake. It is so quiet, you can sneak up on the bass that are swimming by the seawall. Walk out on the pier and watch as the swans and other birds fly by, and watch as the lake starts to wake up as the fish jump hungrily for their morning meal. Water fun abounds from your pier. Sunbathing swimming and fishing. At the end of the pier you can swim perfect for the swimmers and sun bathing! The pier has space for your boat. If you are not bringing a boat we can help you with a pontoon rental. Beach area is shared by others but plenty of sand for everyone. Sand toys are located at the beach area. We also have a wagon so you don't have to carry anything to the beach or pier. This cottage has a bedroom with a queen size bed and all bed linens. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, dresser and all bed linens. The living room has a sofa bed that pulls out to a queen size bed and all bed linens. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need for making a fresh summer meal or just heating up a pizza! Check out all the amenities we offer for the kitchen. We don't want you to have to pack like you are camping. Just bring your food and enjoy your time. The bathroom is small but has everything you need. Thirty bath towels, wash clothes, hand soap, and toilet tissue. Shower only sorry no tub. We do not have laundry area at this time but we do have a clothes line for wet towels and bathing suits. This is a comfortable cottage for four people but you can have up to six people if you like each other?? this place gives you options to go to other areas to be alone or just have some down time. The outside area has a great shaded area with rocking chairs to sit and read. The deck area has the picnic table, gas grill with gas, and chaise lounge chairs. For the enjoyment for little ones a swing set and play area is on site. This is a shared area with other renters of our cottages. Along with a fire pit, and fire wood. We encourage everyone to use this area and get to know others at the lake. Roast a marshmallow and make a friend. Due to Covid we now have fire pit for each cottage.

Built in 1947, renovated in late 2017 with addition of a large Master bedroom second story deck, this cottage is a great retreat for a family vacation, friends gathering or anniversary celebration. Upstairs, Anna's Lakehouse has a King room, second bedroom with Two Queen beds, original 1947 hardwood floors, full bath and new deck overlooking the lake with pub table and steps down to the lower level. Downstairs is a kids room with bunk beds, a living room with king size pullout couch, Full bath, and kitchen. Don't forget to spend some time at the puzzle/game table to relax, slow down, and enjoy the lake pace. Outdoor areas include a new sectional, beautiful new dining table that seats 6, fire pit, and Weber charcoal grill. Kitchen has new quartz counter tops, subway tile, and white cabinets just off the inviting dining area. Ceiling fans also provide good air movement throughout the house. Anna's Lakehouse is available for weekly rental and does have the option to include a rental pontoon boat at an additional charge for experienced boaters. Damage deposits and waivers are required. Weekly pontoon rental may not be available for all guests based on reservation dates and past boating experience.

Grandma’s Suite features a small sitting balcony/walk, access to the large back deck via sliding doors off the dining room, a king bed in the Master Bedroom, a queen bed in the Sewing Room, and a double bed and 4 single beds in the loft – dormitory-style. A fully working kitchen supplied with any and all cooking utensils you might need during your stay is also provided. A large side-by-side refrigerator/freezer, gas stove, microwave and a dishwasher that are all built into the hickory cabinets round out the kitchen. The dining room has a table that seats 4 easily, 6 if you are friendly and 8 if you really like each other. Folding chairs are available in the main house if you need them. A flatscreen with a DVD/VHS (yes VHS) deck as well as internet access to Amazon and Hulu provide entertainment in the living room while lounging on a hide-a-bed couch and two easy chairs. Bathroom amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hair drier. ***PLEASE NOTE*** The nightly fee for Grandma's Suite is based on accommodating 4 people. That means the same 4 people each night. You are greeted by an authentic dutch door that opens in to the spacious, open-concept living / dining / kitchen area. The kitchen has updated appliances and fixtures and is stocked with pots and pans. There is a pour over coffee maker and stove top kettle to get your mornings started off on the right foot. You will also find a toaster, microwave oven, and George Foreman electric grill for your use. In the warmer months, feel free to use the charcoal grill on the deck out back. New flooring throughout and walls of windows provide generous amounts of natural light, even on cloudy days. If it's warm and sunny out, the cottage is a 400 foot stroll to the lakefront. On cool fall and winter days, light a fire and cozy up inside to a good book, game, or Netflix / Hulu movie. The master bedroom has a luxurious and comfortable queen bed. There is a small closet to hang all of your belongings and a full-length mirror. The second smaller bedroom has a twin bed with a pull out trundle as well as a small space for storing belongings during your stay. Both bedrooms have transom windows that allow for the cool breeze to flow through the house. Though the bathroom is small, it is efficient. A single stall shower is enough to get you freshened up. New flooring and paint have been installed recently.

Our lake cottage has 50 feet of prime lakefront that is superb for swimming, sunbathing, fishing and boating. Owned by the same family since its construction in 1923, it is an old school vacation cottage rental with tons of charm and breathtaking island and lake views. The cottage has hardwood floors and a wall of windows that overlook the lake. Fought over is a double size bed located in the great room that oversees the lake. The front bedroom has a double bed and the back bedroom has a queen and a double. The cottage has one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, heating, internet, cable TV and a fireplace. The property has a wooden pier that you may tie up your pontoon, ski or fishing boat to. Fish can be caught right off the pier. The lower patio is ideal for star gazing, and adjacent to it is the beloved firepit. The back porch is just off the kitchen and is a family favorite for morning coffee and conversation. All lake activities can be overseen from the front deck, and both decks have bistro style tables and chairs for outdoor dining or just relaxing and reconnecting with friends and family. The cottage is located on an all sports lake that is spring fed and has a surface area of 640 acres. It has a number of inlets and small islands, a damn, one big island and several sandbars that are popular gathering and swimming spots. The lake is home to the historic Dixie Boat which is the oldest sternwheel paddle boat in Indiana and offers tours of the lake. Lake Webster host a boat- in restaurant and the Webster Ski Bees who promote water skiing as a family sport and put on free ski shows throughout the summer. Connected to Lake Webster is Backwater Lake which offers 189 acres of unrestricted boating among stunning lake flora and fauna. Known for its Muskie, anglers may expect to catch a variety of fish including Crappie and other pan fish. Backwater Lake Wetlands Boardwalk provides an easy way to view the extensive wetlands just south of Backwater Lake. The area hosts a variety of birds and is a breading area for Sandhill Cranes. Tri-County Fish and Wildlife Area is just minutes away as well as boat rentals, golf courses, antique shops, and restaurants. Several Amish communities and the popular Shipshewana auction are only 40 minutes away. Lake Webster is about half way between Fort Wayne and South Bend, Indiana. It is in the Kosciusko County Lakes region, which serves as the vacation destination for Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and beyond. Access to Tippecanoe is possible for boats 16 feet (4.9 m) and shorter in length through a manually operated lock. The greater Barbee lakes are located just west of Indiana State Road 13, approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) south-southeast of Tippecanoe Lake and 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Webster Lake.

We have updated our landscaping to provide a gentle and even slope to those guests who may have difficulty with uneven surfaces. If you enjoy waking up listening to birds and chattering squirrels, sitting in your adirondacks enjoying a morning coffee while watching the sun rise and feeling the morning mist, then this is the place for you. This is a private 179 acre lake which does not allow motors of any kind, strictly canoes, kayaks and rowboats. Peace and Serenity abound. Come for warm summer days and nights, or beautiful fall colors. 3,569 acres of Tri-county fish and wildlife adjoin the property and provide opportunity for bird watching and exploring. Nearby towns offer antiquing and amish crafts. Notre Dame/South Bend is an hour's drive. 2 Kayaks available for use, with a 2 seater paddle boat upon request. Fun for the entire family! Four 4 bedroom three full bath - kitchen has breakfast bar will seat 12. Flat screen TV's (visible throughout the first floor) with satellite, and DVD player. Master bath includes double sinks and whirlpool tub to relax. Outside amenities include a fire pit for cool nights or ambiance, play area for smaller children including slide. Public boat launch approximately 1 mile away. The house has 90 feet of channel front; including dock and additional tie downs to leave your boat and personal water craft in the water all week long with excellent fishing right off the property. There is ample parking for 8 cars and three different private entrances. Other amenities include washer/dryer, large pantry, dressers/closets for clothes, large deck with tables and chairs for up to 12 people, gas grill and a charcoal grill. There are many things to see and do in the area. Check out one of the three golf courses or the local movie theater or bowling alley. If boating is more your speed, spend the day tubing or water skiing and then check out one of the two restaurants on the lake that are accessible by boat. There is also the local sandbar where the water is 3 to 4 feet deep so park your boat and have a picnic or go for a quick swim. NO OLD HAND ME DOWN UNCOMFORTABLE FURNISHINGS HERE! 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home, laundry in home, and the best feature...Central Air Conditioning! (Also has individual room base board heat)water heater, water softener, New front porch (2017), and new roof (2017). Has been decorated with a 'Key West' feel. Has open concept living room (overlooking large back porch and water) and kitchen. Living room has a hide a bed couch and loveseat with plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing. Large flat screen tv (local cable & cable internet), including movie channels. Kitchen is full size (with dishwasher) and contains everything you would need to have a nice meal (only washable dishes provided, if you would like disposable please provide yourself). The bathroom has a tub/shower combo. The master bedroom has a comfortable plush queen size memory foam bed (chest of drawers and two nightstands). The second bedroom has two twin size plush pillow top mattresses. There is a large wood deck (summer 2016) with solar lighting on the back of the house overlooking the channel with table to seat 6 (new summer 2019), two Polywood Adirondack chairs (new summer 2019), two sun lounge chairs (new summer 2020) and gas grill (propane provided; if you run out while on your stay we ask you to take the tank and get a new one for your use and the next guests, please clean the grill (new summer 2020) after using it so the next guests are able to use it as well. A few rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, aluminum foil, salt/pepper, etc are provided. Linens are also ready for your stay! (these are purchased new every two years, so no old scratchy towels and sheets!) There is a strict NO SMOKING POLICY. If smoking in the home is observed you will be charged a fee of your damage deposit to clean the furnishings and floors. Smoking is fine anywhere OUTSIDE of the home (ie, deck, etc.). STRICT: You must vacate the property by 11 a.m. unless prior arrangements are made. Our cleaning crew only has a short window to get in and out of the property before the next guests arrive, usually the same afternoon. Please be courteous of their time and the next group checking in. For every 15 minutes over the 11:00 check out time you will be charged $25 to be collected immediately. Be courteous to others staying at the property and please leave by checkout time.

This home is so close to the water of Lake Wawasee, that when you are sitting inside the living room and dining at the table, you will feel as if you are on the water. There are plenty of large windows in this home to give you the full appreciation of being this close. This stone and siding home built in the 1930's will give you a nostalgic feel, as if you're visiting grandmother’s lakefront home. It has the best of both old and new as there is central air, a security system, and new constant pressure well (so you have plenty of water for all the showers to be used simultaneously). This home has a lake cottage aura about it, as it has a nautical decor. Four of the bedrooms have antique furnishings that further give this home a feeling of nostalgia. There is also a child or teen room with two bunk beds. Everything is furnished in this home -- towels, washcloths, sheets and a completely ready-to-go kitchen, including a microwave, coffee-machine, toaster, pots and pans, silverware, and dishes. Grill outside your kitchen door in a picket-fenced flowered garden with a beautiful view of the lake. Walk out the front door, take a few steps and you are on the new 100 foot long pier. There is plenty of sitting room to bask in the sun on the lounge area of the dock located 60 feet from the shore on the lake. Dive off the dock and swim 50 feet beyond to the diving and swim platform. In the morning, sit on the wicker furniture located on the seawall patio, drinking your coffee, and watching the morning waves of the water. A picnic table is placed on the patio of the seawall for direct lakeside dining. Take an afternoon nap on the hammock underneath the large oak trees, inches away from the water. RESERVATIONS FOR 2021 ACCEPTED BEGINNING JANUARY 2ND This is a classic rustic two story cabin that has been remodeled. The upstairs is the sleeping area with two small open bedrooms, a lofted sleeping area suitable for children and sitting area with fireplace. The downstairs includes a bathroom, kitchen and sitting area and opens onto a full deck with outstanding lake views and privacy. The property sits on the south end of Lake Papakeechie and backs up to the Tri-County game Preserve. This is the hilly end of the lake with heavily wooded lots that create a real sense of solitude. Wifi was installed in 2014. Access to the cottage is via a steep driveway and set of stairs to cottage and then down to the lake. Lake Papakeechie is a private lake that was created about 100 years ago by combining several smaller lakes. The lake is controlled by an owners' association and there is no public access to the lake. Motors of any kind are prohibited. This ensures a peaceful environment with excellent fishing and safe swimming. The lake is fed by artesian wells and water from the adjacent wetlands of the game preserve. The water is tested annually by the association and is consistently found to be extremely clean. One is surrounded by nature here. The lake is home to diverse waterfowl and wildlife including swans, geese, ducks, great blue herons, beaver and often a bald eagle. Hiking or hunting in the preserve is literally across the road. It feels secluded, yet the Lake Wawasee public boat launch is 5 minutes away. The cabin is located at the bottom of a steep driveway and there are stone steps to the cabin and lakefront. This may be a consideration for those with mobility issues. Because the cottage, driveway and lake are not conducive to large groups, those listed on the reservation are the only individuals allowed without permission from the owners. Cottage was built in the '20 and filled with knotty pine. Located on the south end of Lake Wawasee which means calmer waters. Pier has plenty of room to relax. 2 ladders for easy lake access, including one in shallow part of the lake for kids to play. House is elevated which makes for great lake views. Backyard has a privacy fence so you won't bother the neighbors if you listen to music and play corn hole while grilling. Cottage is air conditioned and has everything you need for your stay.
